Introduction Lynn Ogryzlo has a weakness for good food. Second generation Canadian born Italian, Lynn’s culinary passion led her into the seductive world of food and wine. She worked with Inniskillin Wines for the first 10 years before branching out on her own as a food columnist. Over the next decade Lynn created more than 1,400 recipes, mostly dedicated to the seasons of Niagara and its food. She was trained as a sommelier, added wine columnist to her credit and introduced her readers to international destinations through their food and drink. In addition to writing her weekly food column, Lynn became culinary host on CHCH-TV’s Niagara Express, focusing solely on Niagara’s culinary wealth. Lynn’s energy and creativity drove her to found the Niagara Culinary Trail so home cooks, chefs and visitors to the region could have access to local foods, www.NiagaraCulinaryTrail.com. Lynn is currently working in Queenston, Ontario, Canada on her second book, Niagara Cooks by Season, writing her weekly food column for the newspaper and various food and wine stories for 3 magazines.
