| Introduction | Politics (and cultural/social studies) isn't my life, but for some reason, that has become the focus of this blog! I think that's because that's a major area of my life and thought where I am still banging stuff out, trying to figure out where I stand and where I fit in, so to speak. This has also become a place for me to "ponder" my more controversial thoughts and questions, so please don't think that I am some 24/7 radical right winger who is ___ (fill in the blank) or whatever. I am just trying to discern some shapes in our gray and foggy world. Beyond the sometimes rather contrived world of blogging, I work like the rest of us, I am passionate about ministry and I volunteer with high school youth. Travel to about anywhere and good music and the arts and dancing to techno music keep life interesting and livable, and good friends are my tribe and joy and comfort. I experience God through these things, and He is constantly stretching me and teaching me more about how to be a worshipper of Him. I love it. |
