Introduction	I was born in Cherryville, NC in 1940. My father and his sisters started family research in the 1940’s. He passed away in 1979. My sister took up the research for a couple of years after dad passed away. My mother passed away in 2006 and then the light came on and I have been obsessed ever since. Ethel Stroupe, a famous Stroup researcher passed away in 2006 and her daughter Lee was kind enough to pass her mothers records and files over to us. The amount of material was beyond description. It is now approaching 3 years and I am still discovering new material from her files. I met Sid Stroupe and Linda Ballard on line and they both have the same intensity about research as I do. Both have been such friends and of great help in my research. We actually work as a team. We welcome all questions. We would love to have your family stories and old photos.
