| Introduction | Craig Allen is a 20th century polymath and the winner of the 2008 Great American Think Off philosophy contest. Like many others he laments the demise of civil conversation and constructive debate in modern society. With these entries he's not looking for automatic agreement, and welcomes discussion and contrary viewpoints.
