| Introduction | I'm happy most of the time and I love to write. My prized possession is a diary I’ve been keeping since the age of seventeen—4600 pages long. One day, I’ll watch it burn to ashes in the Caldwell woods. Some stories are just meant to end that way. I've been lost most of my life, mentally and spiritually. At the age of seventeen, I’ve reached my darkest moment in life. I was a stupid little boy, with no dreams, no idea where I would fit at in the world. Something eventually happen that change my life forever. I read a book by Iceberg Slim entitled Trick Baby. Upon finishing the book, my first thought was, he writes how I talk. Iceberg Slim gave me the belief that I myself was a storyteller. I now had a plan. It was like God had opened the box and blinked at me. He'd given me a purpose in life. I didn't have much of an education at the time, but I knew I could put two, three, maybe four words together. I had imagination, but I needed to find my voice. I have since been to Film School. I am filled with joy that God now watches over me on my new found journey. |
