| Introduction | I can't remember the first time I tasted barbeque, but suspect it was at Stanley’s Famous Pit Bar-B-Q in Tyler, in the mid 1960s. Probably a chopped brisket sandwich and a Big Red. Fast forward to 2009, when we formed the Texas BBQ Posse to search the great state of Texas for the greatest barbeque in the world. Together with Dallas Morning News colleagues Gary Jacobson, Gary Barber & David Guzman, we discovered the holy grail of BBQ in Central Texas. Since then we have been consumed with sharing our BBQ trail findings though our blog, www.texasbbqposse.com. In my day job, I'm the deputy photo director at The Dallas Morning News.
