| Introduction | Bernard was also my father's name. To avoid getting my mail opened by my parents when I was in high school, I used Nard. If the mail was addressed to Nard, that was ME! I used Nard on my job applications. My first 3 published science-fiction short stories at College used the byline Nard Kordell, and it stuck for years. Even to today. But nowadays I do use both. |
