| Introduction | Professional: I am currently Chief Financial Officer of InsWeb Corporation. My company provides a convenient avenue for consumers looking to shop their personal insurance, and an efficient marketplace for insurance companies and their agents looking to acquire new customers. We are traded on the NASDAQ under the symbol INSW. Before joining InsWeb in 1999, I was the regional finance director and regional actuary at Fireman's Fund Insurance Company. I am a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS), the highest designation the society has to offer. I have a BA in Applied Mathematics (with an emphasis in Statistics and Economics) from the University of California, Berkeley. Go Bears! Personal: I love to travel - hiked the Mendenhall glacier in Alaska; gone snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef in Australia; played golf at St Andrews in Scotland; ran with the bulls, in Pamplona, Spain. I love good food – Italian; Sushi; (authentic) Chinese; Indian. I also love sports – baseball, pro and college football, college basketball, tennis, golf. My hobbies include: tennis, golf, poker, reading and (now) blogging! One of my life-long ambitions is to write a book. |
