| Introduction | As a fashion editor, I think I am lucky! My job is to produce the fashion pages for Melbourne BRIDE, Sydney BRIDE and Australian BRIDE magazine. Wedding gowns are gorgeous, beautifully designed and embellished - like works of art. Plus they have a special meaning for every bride. Couture gowns are incredible. It's a privelege to see up close such amazing workmanship in every garment and with my creative teams we try to make sure all our shoots have some style and magic. Being a fashion editor is a challenging, rewarding and quite exciting role. It involves coming up with concepts, co-ordinating all the talent and, overseeing the fashion shoots. The best part is seeing the finished product all glossy and glam in our elegant magazine. Before working in publishing, I worked as an actor in film, TV and theatre. I was a radio announcer on the ABC, a researcher and reporter for a TV music programme, and I sang in a big Latin band. Strange as it may seem, it's all helped with what I do today! |
