I owned two cats - brothers, who I adopted in 2005, inspired by the animals who were victims of Katrina and lost their homes. Both my husband and I went through the difficult process of dealing with a cat who suffered from cancer, knowing that we must face a rough road where so many of us would be impacted by this terrible illness, including his brother who he's so close to. |
