| Introduction | DeMesha Webster serves as a 4th grade ESL educator at Sally B. Elliott Elementary with the Irving Independent School District. As a 4-year teacher, Mrs. Webster teaches math and science. In the upcoming year, she will possess the title of Grade Level Chair for 4th grade educators. Mrs. Webster's colleagues demonstrated how much they valued her passion and willpower by electing her as the 2012-2103 Teacher of the Year. In addition to representing her campus, Mrs. Webster was chosen by her district to attend the 2012 Mickelson ExxonMobil Teachers Academy and STELLAR Institute. Her active role as an IISD educator was expanded when she spoke alongside Irving's Mayor at the 2012-2013 New Teachers Luncheon, and subsequently becoming a member of the Superintendent Advisory Committee. Mrs. Webster graduated from Texas Woman's University with a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies. In her spare time, she loves to cook, spend time with her family, and shop at small boutiques. |
| Interests | I am so proud to serve as your child's 4th grade teacher. I enjoy sharing my abilities and knowledge with all children. I especially love learning new ideas from them. The icing on the cake is when their faces light up as they discover the unknown. My life focuses on kids - my daughters and students. Whether cooking to nourish their souls or teaching to sustain their brains. Feeding the minds and bellies of others is my goal. In turn, they will become dynamic members of society. |
