| Introduction | I am a wife. A mom. I like music that I can dance to. I like Christian music. I like to be silly and goofy but not until I feel comfortable enough around someone to do that. I absolutely LOVE beach vacations and my accommodations must be right on the ocean when I go. I married my high school sweetheart almost 22 yrs ago. He is amazing. We have two sons, ages 19 and 10. The age difference wasn't on purpose, we wanted three kids spaced 2 years apart. God had other plans and gave us two. At age 41 my first mammogram detected breast cancer. But, it was caught early enough to where the cancer was contained and removed with a mastectomy. It was caught early enough that I did NOT have to endure chemo and/or radiation. Early detection is key and that is the message I want to spread. I lost a breast but I have my life. My faith is stronger because of this. My marriage is stronger because of this. I am learning in life that God allows certain trials in my life for a reason. And it seems these trials always come at the most inopportune times. I have found, and am still learning that God's timing is perfect. He knows what's up and has me covered every step of the way. |
