| Introduction | Kathy is a freelance writer, poet and lover of words.She was a regular contributor to the popular blog site, WRITING NORTH IDAHO, and member of Idaho Writer's League. Kathy studied journalism at College of Marin in San Rafael,California. After college, Kathy worked at The Pico Rivera News, The Herald American/Call-Enterprise , and The Los Angeles Times. Her writing has appeared in a number of periodicals, including The Inland Catholic, The Idaho Register, The Senior Advocate , Spokesman-Review, and Idaho Magazine. Kathy's poetry has been featured in Write-On Poetry Gazette, and the Storyteller - A Writer's Magazine. She is currently working on a compilation of her grandmother's poetry and prose, and identifies herself as daughter,wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend.
