| Introduction | Born in 1953 in London but brought up in West Africa and educated in boarding school, Josephine Hammond went on to University College London where she graduated with a degree in French. After working in France she settled into married life in England and had four sons, three of whom are triplets. She taught languages for many years then, after moving to Pembrokeshire, escaped into her own business selling hampers of local produce by mail order as well as taking an MA in Creative Writing at Trinity College Carmarthen. Throughout her life she has always written and has had several short stories, poems, magazine and newspaper articles published over the years. She has written two books "Battle in Iraq" is available on Amazon and from the publishers IB Tauris and her biography of Adelina Patti "Queen of Song" is now available on Kindle. She has recently published a new book Wilderness & Paradise. She still lives in Pembrokeshire with her husband but sadly only one mad dog now. R.I.P. Phoebe springer spaniel aged 15 years. |
