Introduction	I am a 48 year old high school teacher who has been married to my best friend for the past eight years. We love flea markets and are "guerilla renovators" having purchased and renovated two houses on a beautiful island in the Bay of Fundy in the last 4 years. We are outdoor enthusiasts and geocache when we can, accompanied by our trusty 10 year old rescue dog. My new obsessions are knitting and quilting. As retirement is now 7 years away, we have a lot to work on....finances, hobbies, fitness and living a more simple (authentic) life. This blog is an opportunity to share our "hits and misses", establish goals and efforts to achieve them. It is MY ACCOUNTABILITY. Hopefully you will be inspired to do the same!
