| Introduction | I'm a Mother, Grandmother, and self taught artist. I've been creating "things" since I was very little. I remember making little people and animals from pebbles and rocks when I was five. Then paper dolls, oh, I was just in love with making paper dolls, with just cardboard, plain white typing paper, and crayons.....my Mother was an artist and I was so intimidated by her studio, her large pieces of abstract art (the colors thrilled me , but I didn't understand the art at all) that I didn't pick up a paint brush til I was in my 30's. Having a large family, (six children) put my art making on hold. I puttered around here and there, but the kids came first. Now here I am, living alone, with my own "art stuff" , and enjoying the freedom to create anything that my muse inspires me to create. My blog will be a mixture of personal journal, art stuff, adult children stuff, and learning to age , "gracefully. Thanks for visiting............. |
