| Introduction | I'm in my 40's and I've been involved in NSW rail preservation since the age of 16. I've done many things in the movement from steam loco restoration & maintenance to being a Guard and a fireman. The first engine I worked on was 5461, helping prepare her for her final boiler exam. My profile photo shows 5461 shunting the Dairy Farmer's siding at Moss Vale on 7 December 1985 on her last day in steam. I Model NSWGR pre-1955 (in Proto:87) as well as rebuilding my family's Marklin layout. |
