| Introduction | Meg was born in New York City in the waning years of the babyboom. She grew up in New Jersey and when she went to college in Wisconsin swore never to return. But, alas, after several years in the midwest and a few in London, Meg returned to the Garden State and has lived for the last 13 years in splendid western New Jersey with her husband, their two (now grown) children, and her cat Slide (who is seen hard at work in the photo on left). Always an avid reader and writer, Meg writes mostly YA. In July, 2009, Meg started the MFA program in Writing for Children and Young Adults at Vermont College of Fine Arts. She will complete the program in July 2011. Her first picture book will be published by Kar-Ben in Spring 2010. When not reading or writing, Meg keeps herself busy with needlepoint, weaving, and various community volunteer activities. |
