| Introduction | My name is Maia. In 2016, my life was transformed by a direct encounter with God — not through religion, but through His presence, forgiveness, and love. That encounter became the foundation for everything that followed. Over time, I entered Christianity expecting clarity and growth. Instead, I encountered systems that often detached Scripture from its covenant context, replacing living understanding with fear, abstraction, and unresolved expectation. That journey forced me to return to the text itself — and to the God who first revealed Himself to me. This blog explores Scripture through what I call Covenantal Restorationism: a covenant-based reading that understands sin, repentance, faith, and salvation within Israel’s story, sees Christ as restoring what was broken rather than replacing it, and recognizes the fulfillment of the gospel within its first-century context.
