| Introduction | My name is Judy Garrison. I love the process of forming and forging metal. When I first started working with metal, I viewed it as a flat and solid medium, when in fact over the years I have come to realize that metal can be a very fluid medium. I love watching the metal move and stretch in ways I never thought it could. Recently my designs have become even more dimensional and fluid. I get a great sense of satisfaction watching a flat sheet of metal move and stretch into graceful forms as I hammer. My goal is to continue to challenge myself by trying new techniques that will add to the beauty and fluidity of each piece I create. My hopes are to be able to express the beauty, of what metal has to offer, to all who view my work. Thank you, Judy Garrison |
