| Introduction | For as long as I can remember, I have been interested by birds. After spending many years focused on birds, my interest broadened, and I began learning as much as I could about other aspects of nature, including: insects, wildflowers, geology, and more. I continue this quest to learn about the environment as well as protect it through organizations like the Lehigh Gap Nature Center (nature education, habitat restoration) and Inconvenient Youth (climate change).
