| Introduction | I am a seven-year breast cancer survivor, diagnosed at age 43, with a Stage 1, Grade 3 tumor that I noticed under my left armpit while showering. I initially thought it was nothing. But I was wrong. And it was aggressive. My cancer diagnosis came as a complete shock to me, my family and friends. After all, an avid runner with no risk factors who's only 43 shouldn't get breast cancer, right? My life changed forever on February 20, 2006, and although I've had my share of trials throughout this time, I can honestly say that God has walked by my side every step of the way. I am married to Brian and we have three wonderful children, Patrick, age 23, Melissa, age 17 and Caroline, age 14. I'd love to chat and hear all about your story! Feel free to comment on my blog!
