Introduction	I'm a 26 year old guy who injured his L5S1 disc lifting in the gym. Since then i've been down the usual medical routes and tried everything including hanging upside down like a bat every day! When sciatica kicked in it changed my life and my world started to close down pretty rapidly. At this point i already knew about disc replacement and was offered a fusion with a bone graft from my hip on our health service in the UK. After a lot of planning and consideration i decided to see Dr Nick Boeree for a disc replacement at L5S1 using the Spinalkinetics M6L implant. This is a blog of my progress after surgery.
