| Introduction | Hello world :) My name is Aurora, and I am an undergrad at Memorial University of Newfoundland. I am currently doing a BA(hons) in Archaeology with a minor in Religious Studies. I am also completing a diploma in Heritage Resources. This summer from June 16th-August 12th I will be traveling to Turkey for an archaeological survey of the Black Sea region, as well as traveling to many historic and cultural sites in the country. My Turkish Survey will be where I post my stories, pictures and videos of my travels and adventures, as well as where I will post information about our survey and research for the Cide Archaeological Project. This is my second archaeological/travel blog. Last summer I created My Armenian Sandbox to document my field school expierence on the Arpa River Valley in Armenia where I was working on the renowned Chalcolithic Areni Cave Complex, and my adventures throughout Armenia. I will be updating this blog as often as possible, depending on the availability of internet. |
