| Introduction | I have always been a reader, and now, I am learning to be a writer as well. I teach fourth grade during the day, and attend Teachers College at Columbia University by night. I am currently working towards a Masters degree in the Literacy Specialist program. On weekends, you can usually find me playing outside with my little Boston Terrier, Ramona. |
| Favorite books | Literacy Reference: The Art of Teaching Writing, Lucy Calkins; Spelling K-8, Diane Snowball and Faye Bolton; Charlotte Huck's Children's Literature, Kiefer, Hickman, & Hepler. I don't have a favorite "adult" novel, but the most recent ones that I'd recommend are: The Stolen Child by Keith Donohue (fantasy), and The Other Boleyn Girl by Philippa Gregory (historical fiction). |
