Introduction	For me, reading is as essential as breathing. I was an English major in college not because it would lead to a lucrative career--but because it was the only major I could find that consistently assigned novel reading for homework. Anyone who knows me well is not surprised to discover me--in any social setting--peppering someone with questions about what they have read recently. This blog is an attempt to share with others my great love of reading AND to spare my friends and neighbors from my incessant chatter about books.
