| Introduction | I'm an Interior Decorator and have my diploma from Humber College and run Wendy M. Turley Interiors Ltd. I'm a wife and a mother. Sounds simple right? Here's where it gets complicated. I'm no bored housewife. My husband, Peter is blind and my son was born 11 weeks premature was just diagnosised with ASD(Autism Spectrum Disorder). I learnt fast how important great design makes life easier and possible in some cases. I started with our nursery and then decided that there was a need out there for Great Design to make living possible for those with disabilities or family with disabilities. The population is aging and many Canadian homes now have multiple generations under their roofs. This creates unique needs with young children growing and health needs of grandparents changing. An organized home with a great flow becomes a place where living can be a positive and beneficial experience. Your house isn't a place to feel like you're just visiting or being accomodated in. It's your home, your haven, your pride and your joy. |
