| Introduction | I am happily married for 41 years (struth, that long already)! We had two children, a boy and girl, but sadly lost our son this year. My daughter and son in law live in a nearby village and they had my beautiful grandaughter 5 months ago. She brings us much joy. We moved to England 8 years ago when we retired. Before then we lived in Scotland where I was born, schooled and bred. We live in a small rural friendly community just within the English border. I have been doing machine embroidery on a state of the art machine, but discovered crazy quilting earlier this year s the machine is almost redundant now! No doubt I will incorporate it into my new hobby. I thought life was going to go at a slower pace now, but I was wrong there's just not enough hours in a day. We have a new shih tzu pup called Alfie who we bought for as a friend for Buster our other shihtzu. At the moment it is mayhem as the pup won't leave Buster in peace and Buster is establishing his role as boss. |

| Favorite books | Any auto biography, other people's lives fascinate me and travel books. I have travelled a bit, hopefully there's more in store. |
