| Introduction | ...was formed goodness knows how many years ago (2001?) when Roly "Twobelts" Allen and Tom Honey ran onto one another on the tube during rush hour. Which just *never* happens. Landy was reading the story of Creation Records and Tom was reading the Last Gang in Town and we'd both decided in simultaneous advance of our actually opening our mouths. We set to work getting properly set-up: business account, registration at Companies House and so forth (much use all that was, but it made us feel a bit proper). This after many years of gigging in various forms, and concurrent with the final, Roly-less incarnation of Big Red. We got a Big Red 7-inch pressed in the Czech plant that contributes half the pollution of Europe or something, and we did it again with Norwegian Lady (plus individual artist-designed inner sleeves). We rolled out some CD albums and generally indulged ourselves. It's not going to stop any time soon. |
