Introduction	I started sea kayaking in 2002 and quickly progressed to whitewater. I am an ACA Whitewater Instructor and I volunteer teach through Rapids Riders. Between kayaking and surfing I can see why many people have spent their lives beach bumming. If I could I'd become a river gypsy full time. There's nothing I love more than to be on a river. I travel and love to take photos of people in their "rock star" moments. I have one really great son, Shane. Winter comes and I snow kite, cross country ski, Downhill ski, Telemark ski, rock and ice climb and mountain bike. Always looking for the next adventure whether it's in my back yard or miles distant...when you look you will usually find one. I'm also an agate nut! My Blog is a way for me to share my paddling life with my non-paddling friends and family. Click on any photo to enlarge it.
Interests	Whitewater Kayaking, Kiting, Climbing, Sea Kayaking, Photography, XC Skiing, Downhill skiing, Karate, Travel, Gardening, Pond Designs, Fishing, Hiking, and just about anything outdoors. I take suggestions!
Favorite Movies	The last movies I saw that I really liked was the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I haven't been to hardly any movies since then...too busy. But I do love comedies!
Favorite Music	I listen to most everything, alterantive, rock, blues, and gospel.
Favorite Books	The Eternal Savage, by E.R.Burroughs, I've read every book by ERB, The Poisonwood Bible, is a story of twisted Chrisianity gone incredibly wrong. The Power of One is another great book. I have alot of favorite authors such as Robert Ludlem, Dean Koontz, Patricia Cornwell, Tom Clancy, James Patterson and many more.
