| Introduction | My name is Susan, most people call me Sue, with the exception of my Mum who would always called me by my Christian name Susan, oh how I wish to hear the sound of that now. I first became interested in family history quite a few years ago when my brother wrote an article for my newsletter I wrote (sues news) for my family after my Mum had bowel cancer at the age of 82, thankfully she survived and lived on for many years but sadly passed away 4 days before her 99th birthday on 16th March 2013. I had even ordered a 99 birthday cake and had to pick it up from Marks and Spencer’s, two number 9's. Sadly she didn't get to see her 100th birthday. Oh what a party we would have had! |
