| Introduction | As an artist, I focus on acrylic and marker pen paintings in addition to works in the digital environment. My work is primarily figurative with occasional forays into mandala-making, photography, and collage. About style, my work exudes strong color choices as well as color play to create translucent effects. In sketching, I use a light touch with the pencil for subtle shaping, shadow and depth. In works with pen, I use a variety of lines and shapes to build form and expression. My pieces are balanced in composition and color, detailed, and have bold character-driven and engaging subjects. In fact, there might be a little bit of illusion and whimsy too! |
