| Introduction | Levent comes from the Latin "Levare" which means to rise....The East part of Meditarrenean is called Levant because it is the place where the sun is rising for the West...That is why it has meanings like "to rise, the sun rise, the place of the rise, the place where the sun rises, rising, East Meditarrenean".
