| Introduction | My name is Johnny Taiāalso known as Johnny Tiger or Johnny ST Tai, depending on the circle. Iām a multidisciplinary artist, martial artist, educator, and disability advocate. Blind and partially deaf since age three, Iāve spent my life defying limits. I hold multiple medals in martial arts, teach self-defense, and create tactile and inclusive artwork that challenges how people experience the world. For over a decade, I worked as a professional therapist and counselor, helping others grow through pain and self-discoveryāuntil the COVID-19 pandemic brought that career to an end. Rather than stop, I shifted. I dove headfirst into art, storytelling, and advocacy, building a platform that blends mental health insight, combat skill, lived experience, and creative expression. You may know me from art series like Zodiac Crossroads or Language of Love, my music, or my self-defense work with blind and disabled students. Whatever the medium, my mission stays the same: to inspire, educate, and empower with raw truth and bold passion. Tagline: No one ever kicked asses by saying āI canāt.ā |
