| Introduction | Hello and welcome to The ConvictKeeper. As the name implies, I work in “the system”. I am a Correctional Lieutenant in the California prison system, otherwise known as the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR). I have decided to present a blog on poker, with an occasional prison story thrown in for good fun. I truly have seen my share of “Bad Beats” I am a low limit player, primarily .25/.50 NL cash games and low buy-in SNG and MTT. I am attempting to work my way up to the .50/1.00 NL games and larger buy-in events. I have and do play some live events locally. I currently play at three main sites: Full Tilt Poker (FTP), Poker Stars (PS) and Bodog (BD). I really play BD for the MTT tournaments, I don’t fancy the site, but that is only my opinion. Most of my play is at FTP in cash games, and I like the SNG and MTT at PS, however I play both depending on my mood. My current goals are to become a successful ring game player and to win a large online event with a purse of $30,000 or greater. With the help of the blog community and the community of helpful player at CardRunners, I can achieve my goals. |
