The hair from your last haircut ... what would it say about your new style?
The hair shed would quietly fall to the ground without a word of complaint. I don't imagine that they would be at all offended that the new generation continues the life-cycle of another growing season only to fall from the same height with virtually the same dimensions as their forefathers.
