Introduction	Growing up, my family wasn't the kind to sit down to family dinners often. Everyone's schedules were too hectic we just didn't have the time or energy. When I moved out on my own I tried cooking, but while I enjoyed it, it just seemed like so much effort for just one person's meal. I got married last fall and my husband and I both enjoy cooking and eating a good home-cooked meal. I'm still very new to preparing whole meals, not just one part of it. This blog is to follow the trials and tribulations of a novice cook. Rarely does a session in the kitchen go by without my exclaiming that I've messed up the recipe somehow. I look forward to sharing my experiences in the kitchen as well as the recipes I've found along the way.
