Occupation | Homeschooling |
Location | Adelaide, SOUTH AUSTRALIA, Australia |
Introduction | We are a Catholic homeschooling family living "downunder" in Australia. We have 7 children, 5 of whom have graduated from our homeschool. We enjoy using ideas from Charlotte Mason, Maria Montessori, Classical Homeschooling, unit studies and just about anything else that fits well with our family. |
Interests | adding to my blog, gardening, reading apologetics, growing in my Catholic faith |
Favorite Movies | I like the movie "Pride and Prejudice". I know many prefer the BBC series but I think the movie captured much of the feeling of the times...love that first scene with the washing! |
Favorite Music | Eclectic really. I love a lot of classical music...but I also like singing along to songs from "Mama Mia", or Cat Stevens or America or ....so um ....eclectic really!! |
Favorite Books | nearly all books by Rummer Godden + Elizabeth GougeAlso "cry the beloved Country" by Alan Paton. All books by Miss Read...they are just so "enjoyable" The Mitford series for pure enjoyment! Also the First Lady Detective series for an easy yet insightful read |

The only time I've ever eaten waffles was when I was about 10yo at the Aucland Easter Show...and I wasn't overly impressed...now if you were to ask me about chocolate...
