| Introduction | My name is Derek. According to the survey I am disaffected. I would not consider myself apathetic just less informed than I would like to be. I tend to be cynical. Economically I lean more towards the right whereas on certain social issues I lean more towards the left. My main political influences are George Carlin and Steven Colbert. I was too young to vote in the last election, and I am still deciding whether or not I am going to vote, and if I do for whom. I hope to get a better understanding of how the government works and how to be more aware with current events. |
