| Introduction | I am a self-taught artist currently living and working in the beautiful Tarn region of southwest France. I find the clean air, slower pace of life and outstanding beauty (not to mention the very welcoming and helpful locals) are for me much more conducive to the earnest pursuit of painting. Maybe the local wine also has something to do with it?! ;0) I have spent my time here busy in my studio, or out in the landscape trying to figure out its perplexing puzzle. All of this has been done at the expense of any publicity and almost no marketing. However, I have recently begun offering my work for sale on Daily Paintworks, which is something I intend to grow as time and demand allow. While blogs are used for many things, I don't see any great need to write about myself here. To simply state that I am a painter, and then display my work, feels sufficient. I have fairly wide ranging interests when I'm not painting, including reading, poetry, music and films - pretty much standard interests then ;0) |
