Introduction	From underground press to cyber journalism. 1975-2000. A quarter-century of witnessing and practising journalism. From national and international news agencies to English and Hindi newspapers. Wrote weekly humour columns in three rival English dailies of Hyderabad under the pseudonym of Pugilist, Muneer Ahmed (a name I was given in Cyprus by my Turkish friends)and Wisekrack. At present, I work for the Business India magazine as a special correspondent. My tryst with journalism began during the Emergency when I brought out an underground news bulletin,Ranbheri. Prior to taking up the present assignment, I was with the CyberMedia group as an associate editor of www.ciol.com, a technology portal.
