| Introduction | Shelly Sargent is a wife & mother of two children (Bob, 11 & Sarah, 10). She co-owns Caledon radio stations B105.5FM & 102.7FM (The View) with her husband Rick, & is the editor of the online magazine CaledonToday.ca and new print magazine “PULSE”. In addition to her work with Caledon Media, in the past year, Shelly has completed a series of short articles on local history, happening & events and collaborated on the creation of a book “Focus on Heroes: Beyond the Uniform” with local photographer Lisa Scale. Proceeds from the sale of that book will be directed towards the Tema Conter Memorial Trust. (www.tema.ca) Committed to living the greenest life possible, Shelly recently joined the board of Green T, and works at incorporating environmental best practices into her own life one item at a time. In her free time (something in short supply, these days), Shelly enjoys reading, sketching & gardening, yoga & meditation & works on the never-ending renovation of her beloved older, rural home on Old Church Road. |
