Introduction	I'm a fashion & surface designer, illustrator & photographer. I live in Columbus, OH with my husband, Josh & my son Emerson. Although I've been a professional fashion designer for more than 15 years, when I look back, I guess I could say I was born a designer. I spent many hours designing clothes & playing dress up (styling my little sister with anything from my mom's old clothes to chocolate syrup & sprinkles.) In high school, I took every art class available which led to a BS in Fashion Design from Kent State University. My journey has taken me coast to coast working in L.A. as a costume designer/stylist & in NYC as a designer for top brands & companies like Disney, Macy's, Kohls & Calvin Klein. In between coasts, I designed for JCPenney, Limited Too, Target & most recently for Thirty-One Gifts. While each of these experiences were great, I always felt that I needed to do something more. That all changed recently when I decided to leave the corporate world, follow my dreams & start my own business. I am so excited to now be in a place where I can focus on my passion, my business & my family. This blog is my outlet to share my passions. Thanks for visiting.
