About me

Introduction	This book club has been running since 2008 and is still going strong. We meet once a month, and discuss the book which we've been reading - generally we just take it in turns to give our reactions to the book, good and bad, covering any aspect. then we decide on a book for next time, usually with people bringing suggestions and voting with a show of hands. Whole thing accompanied or followed by pizza and wine, or whatever seems appropriate. Everyone contributes towards the cost price of the meal. We have aimed for a fair mixture of classic and current books, not always highbrow but generally speaking wanting good worthwhile literature, that we can recommend to other people.
