Introduction Award-winning filmmaker Michel Negroponte and I have made a documentary about my life. It's titled AN AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF MICHELLE MAREN. After enduring 17 years of physical and emotional abuse, I dropped out of high school and moved to NYC. In 1981, I was Miss Big Apple and then worked as a magician's assistant at Resorts International Casino in Atlantic City alongside Richiardi. Tiny Tim hired me as his opening act and I delivered Strip-O-Grams to celebrities such as Andy Warhol. Singing American standards and Japanese songs in NYC Japanese nightclubs was certainly an interesting experience! In addition, I danced at The Red Parrot and The Cat Club and was a go-go dancer in NJ, NY and CT. I was on the covers of such publications as THE EROTIC FILM GUIDE, CHERIE and HIGH SOCIETY and appeared in NATIONAL LAMPOON. FLASH PANTS featured me in a small part and it was my image that appeared on the film's poster and video box. I later had a starring role in THROAT: 12 YEARS AFTER, the sequel to DEEP THROAT. I left the very destructive adult film industry after one year and wound up in five psych wards. Now leading an entirely new life, I encourage others to achieve their goals.
