---|---|
Industry | Business Services |
Occupation | RETIRED!!! |
Location | Newfoundland, Canada |
Introduction | Female w/ loads of laugh-lines who is determined to remain her old-optimistic self despite life. Often pink-haired, just retired, and ready for whatever adventure and mischief I can safely get myself into. |
Interests | Laughing a lot, partaking of good food & wine. Singing, dancing & music; cleaning out my purse & rearranging my furniture; pushing my luck; reading things that let me escape; stacking the magazines I'm going to go thru someday (w/ plans to cut out all the pretty pictures I like); cooking & trying new foods, & complaining about the lack of Artisan bread where I now live. |
Favorite Movies | Lord of the Rings: Return of the King; 5th Element; Enchanted April; It's a Wonderful Life, Mama Mia, Forest Gump, Everything is Illuminated, Happy Feet; and Avatar was pretty darned good! |
Favorite Music | Beatles and other 60's/70's, ABBA, Gypsy Kings, warm 'n' spicy Latin music, Aurora, Greta van Fleet, some classical, some bluegrass, almost any type. |
Favorite Books | Anne of Green Gables (changed me as a child); A Tree Grows in Brooklyn; the Steig Larson trilogy, George RR Martin's "Song of Ice and Fire" series, Outlander; any good mystery story; the Childs & Preston Pendergast books & some family-oriented book that allows me a good cry (w/o being morbid). |
