Introduction	It took me almost 20 years to get my teaching degree, and it has been worth the wait. I chose to teach Spanish because I believe that you cannot learn a language without also learning about culture and diversity. We are a global community, and it's important to remove the walls that separate people and build bridges instead. I am very passionate about equal rights and opportunity for all.
