Introduction I eat very little bread (well, most of the time), so I've decided to only have the best. For me that's whole wheat bread made from freshly-ground whole wheat flour. I don't eat it just because it is healthy. I eat it because it tastes good. My mother baked bread. And rolls. Including cinnamon rolls. Her homemade bread was the bread we ate. It smelled wonderful and tasted even better. She passed away when I was 10, before I was able to learn bread-baking from her. My sister Margaret taught me. I remember as a teenager visiting her and her family and eating her delicious whole wheat bread, made from the flour that she had just ground. I wanted to do that.
