Introduction	I was born in Santa Rosa, CA, and moved to Peoria when I was 8 or 9 (I don't remember). I've lived in Switzerland and Germany for a total of six years and spent many of my formative years in Urbana and Champaign, attending the University of Illinois (undergrad and law school). After that, I moved to Chicago and worked at the Vic Theatre as a bouncer and bartender while attempting to break into the music industry with my band. Nowadays, I am a lawyer who, among other things, defends a lot of people in the criminal courts. In my spare time, I like to watch movies, lift weights, read and (sometimes) write blogs, hang out at PeoriaSpeaks.com, and record music. I'm also contemplating a return to a former hobby: homebrewing beer.
