| Introduction | Dan Williams has lived in Lexington, SC since 1988. He was the Minister of Music at Lexington Baptist Church for 28 years. In 2016 he became the Pastor for Sr. Adults and Congregational Care at Lexington Baptist. He was born the youngest of four children in Moncks Corner, SC while his father, Rev. Burt Williams was pastor of the First Baptist Church, Moncks Corner. At age 3 the Lord called the Williams family to pioneer territory for Southern Baptists at the time, Dayton, Ohio. Dan became a Christian at the age of 9. The family moved back to South Carolina in 1970 to West Columbia where his father was the Pastor of FBC West Columbia. Dan is a graduate of Furman University where he met his wife, Julie, from Lancaster, SC . They were married in June of 1979. Julie has been a piano teacher in Lexington since 1988.
